Tips & Tricks Presented by KIOXIA: Halo Infinite’s Best Weapons and Weekly Challenges (Part 2)

In our previous Halo Infinite beginner guide, we talked about different maps, battle pass rewards, and game modes. Today, we will focus more on the best weapons to use for multiplayer mode, and weekly challenges to increase XP to unlock battle pass items.

These are the top 5 weapons you should prepare to use in the game:

Battle Rifle

If you’re looking for a precision weapon that isn’t a Sniper Rifle, this is it. The Battle Rifle is accurate, and players who can control the weapon’s recoil and stay on target will get quick four-burst kills at medium range.

Tip: Learn where it can spawn on each map!

Assault Rifle

You do not have to pick this up as everyone automatically spawns with an assault rifle in matches. This classic weapon in Halo Infinite is actually rather good, and you should consider keeping it because it’s a good all-arounder for close and medium-range combat.

Tip: However, any precision weapon, such as the Battle Rifle, will outclass the Assault Rifle since it is simply not accurate enough and does not inflict enough damage.

Rocket Launcher (M41 SPNKr)

In Quick Play arena matches, the Rocket Launcher is great for getting multiple kills, and it also works effectively against vehicles in Big Team Battle. It’s a terrible force to be reckoned with, and be careful not to blow yourself up.

Tip: It will be tough to hit Wasps or Banshees with rocket launchers because they don’t have any locking capabilities against aerial vehicles.

S7 Sniper

The S7 Sniper can hold four rounds of ammo. In multiplayer, it just takes one shot to destroy an opposing Spartan’s shields, and another to kill the Spartan. With a single headshot, it can instantly kill a fully shielded Spartan.

Tip: Be discreet as anyone looking at the end of the scope will see a glimmer while aiming down the scope. Similarly, that’s how you spot enemies using a sniper so be sure not to take a second peek.

Sidekick

It’s a high-precision loadout weapon that provides Kinetic damage and works best in close quarters. The Sidekick does not deliver much damage per shot, but it can be fired quickly at the expense of precision.

Tip: Switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading, this weapon is an excellent complement.

Bonus weapon: Energy Sword

The Energy Sword from Halo is one of the most iconic weapons in video game history. This weapon should be familiar to everyone who has played any Halo game. Each slash instantly kills an enemy, but it needs to be close to the target, which is normally the most difficult aspect of any melee weapon.

This is the whole list of weapons: BR75, Cindershot, Heatwave, Mangler, Ravager. CQS48 Bulldog, Disruptor, Energy Sword, Gravity Hammer, Hydra, M41 SPNKr, MA40 AR, Mk50 Sidekick, Needler, Plasma Carbine, Plasma Pistol, Skewer, S7 Sniper, Shock Rifle, Stalker Rifle, VK78 Commando.

Weekly Challenges To Increase XP

In Halo Infinite, challenges are daily and weekly tasks that players can complete for XP, which helps them move through the seasonal Halo Infinite Battle Passes. Challenges can be earned in multiplayer.

Daily challenges are refreshed every day at 10:00 am PST (2:00 am the next day, SGT). Each day, there are four daily challenges that reward XP for completing multiplayer matches. Every week, each player is given a set of 20 random weekly challenges (8 Normal, 8 Heroic, and 4 Legendary), chosen at random from a pool of 700 possible challenges. Weekly challenges are reset every week on Tuesday at 10:00 am PST (2:00 am Wednesday, SGT).

There you have it, these are the best weapons to master in our opinion, as well as how the weekly challenges work to gain XP to unlock cool battle pass items.
