Tips ands Tricks | Call of Duty: Mobile’s 8 Multiplayer Modes Guide and Tips (Part 2)

In our previous article, we talked about Call of Duty: Mobile’s battle royale mode. Today we will be discussing further tips to win a multiplayer game, where it might be more appealing for players who want to play with friends.

The multiplayer mode is a traditional 5v5 team-based combat. This allows players to play with their friends and battle other real-world players. There are multiple modes you can choose from when playing multiplayer. They are Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, Gunfight, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Free for All. Other special modes include Sniper Only, Gun Game, or Prop Hunt.

Frontline

You can score points by killing hostiles. The player who gets to ten points first wins. Frontline mode is a kill-count game. As a result, the loadout might be considered a player’s primary asset. During the process of playing COD Mobile for a longer period of time, the loadout gradually obtains add-ons and levels up.

Tip: Always double-check your loadout, especially before each match.

Team Deathmatch

After the initial spawning, spawn locations are randomised, unlike Frontline. Each match in this mode has ten participants, with five players on each team. When a player eliminates an opponent, they receive points for their team. The match is won by the first team to reach 50 kills.

Tip: Don’t leave your team, always be with them. There is a higher chance of killing the enemy when you are all together.

Domination

The goal of this game is to collect as many points as possible by taking Areas A, B, or C, and the kill count is not taken into account while calculating points. The middle of the map is where you’ll find Target B. So if you want to win quickly, don’t be hesitant to seize target B, which will give your team an edge.

Tip: Don’t be afraid to die, as kill count does not matter in the domination mode.

Search & Destroy

It is essentially a bomb mission, where Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist teams are formed. The Terrorist team’s main goal is to plant and explode the bomb, whereas the Counter-Terrorist team’s main goal is to defuse the device.

Tip: Have a team member use a sniper rifle. This weapon is lethal since it has high damage and a long range of fire. However, the member using the sniper should not be holding or planting the bomb as they are meant to eliminate the enemy from a far distance instead of going onto the site.

Gunfight

The 3v3 Gunfight is made out of 6 rounds. Each round requires players to kill members of the opposing side, and the team that wins six rounds first wins the game. To win the round, you must either eliminate all three members of the other team or claim the flag that appears after the 40-second time limit has expired. Weapons are assigned to each player at random are rotated every two rounds.

Tip: If no one gets the flag or no team is eliminated, the round is won by the team with the most HP.

Kill Confirmed

The Kill Confirmed mode is similar to Team Deathmatch, with the exception that when a player is killed, they drop a dog tag. To confirm the kill and get a point, the opposing team must pick up this dog tag (by running over it). However, if a friendly teammate collects the tag, a kill can be rejected.

Tip: On the map, enemy dog tags are red, while your team’s dog tags are blue.

Hardpoint

In Hardpoint mode, a team must secure a specific position known as ‘Hardpoint’ for a period of time, after which it will change to various different locations. The game is won by the first side to reach 150 points. It is similar to the Domination mode, however points A, B or C are not static.

Tip: You must be exact with your aim because if you accidentally strike one of your teammates, you will receive the same amount of damage as a punishment.

Free for All

The “Free for All” mode in Call of Duty: Mobile is similar to a battle royale concept in where you play solo and the objective is to attain the highest skill level. The maximum kill is 20, unlike in ranked or other multiplayer games. This mode is available on all maps.

That’s all for the full list of multiplayer modes for Call of Duty: Mobile. Personally, I enjoy playing multiplayer a lot more due to certain random modes that the game comes up with during each update. Try them out and let us know your favourite!
