Talking Cock Session: Rashford’s Man Utd Future, Hazard EPL Opportunity, and More

In our weekly talk cock sessions, we look at the latest transfer news, gossips, and highlights that have football fans all over the world buzzing with excitement.

Darwin Nunez set for Premier League switch

Benfica striker Darwin Nunez is one of the most in-form and in-demand players in Europe. The South American forward has netted a whopping 28 goals already this season with his latest contribution coming during his side’s Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie against Liverpool. Following what has been a massive breakthrough campaign, Nunez, 22, has seen his name linked with a whole host of clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United. Undoubtedly destined for big things, this summer could see the 22-year-old seal a big move to England’s top flight.

Marcus Rashford’s Man Utd future revealed

Manchester United appears to be on the verge of appointing Ajax manager Erik ten Hag as their next permanent boss. The highly-rated Dutchman, who is expected to take over from interim manager Ralf Rangnick next season, is tipped as the frontrunner for the Red Devils’ job with an official announcement expected soon. However, while United prepare for one high-profile arrival, fans have been left to wonder if they’ll see an equally as big departure. Forward Marcus Rashford is believed to be unhappy with life under Rangnick and after scoring just five goals this season has quickly found himself out of favour with the German.

Bernd Leno not happy at Arsenal

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has spoken about his current situation at the club, hinting at a move away in the future. Leno has struggled for game time since the arrival of Aaron Ramsdale, managing just four appearances in the league this season. The German international has spoken about his lack of minutes at Arsenal. Leno has now entered his thirties, and Ramsdale is performing incredibly well for his new club. The German goalkeeper is going to struggle to take the number one shirt from him, so a move might be the best decision for his career. Leno has reportedly snubbed a move to Newcastle, a club that would likely offer him first-team football. The 30-year-old may be looking for a challenge in a team competing for European qualification.

3 EPL clubs challenge for Jude Bellingham

Manchester City have entered the race for Liverpool and Manchester United transfer target Jude Bellingham. Bellingham took the brave decision to move to Germany, when signing for Borussia Dortmund as a 17-year-old. Since then, he’s become a regular in the Dortmund side, which has inevitably attracted the attention of many clubs around Europe. Manchester City have now joined the race to sign the highly-rated midfielder. The England international’s contract doesn’t expire until June 2025, so it could take a hefty transfer fee to prise him away from Dortmund. Bellingham has been linked with a move to Manchester United by The Athletic, and Caught Offside understands that Liverpool are also interested in the English midfielder.

Arsenal looking to sign Eden Hazard

Arsenal officials have met with Eden Hazard’s agent over a move back to the Premier League. Hazard left the Premier League in 2019 when making the move to Real Madrid from Chelsea. The Belgian hasn’t enjoyed the best of times in Spain, so a move away from the club could be a possibility. Arsenal have met with Hazard’s agent over a potential loan move, with a view to a permanent transfer. Hazard still has two years left on his deal, but a lack of game time since joining the club could mean he leaves Real Madrid before the end of his contract.

Newcastle and Tottenham target Richarlison

Newcastle and Tottenham have joined the race for Manchester United transfer target Richarlison. Richarlison has been attracting interest from a host of clubs, especially due to Everton’s current relegation battle. Richarlison and many others will be looking for moves away from the club if they are to be relegated from the Premier League. Newcastle, Manchester United, and Tottenham are interested in the Brazilian forward, who Everton reportedly value him at €80m. If Everton are to stay in the league, a move to Newcastle seems like a sideways step. Ignoring this current season, The Toffees often finish above Newcastle. However, their recent financial package could tempt Richarlison, if they offer him a hefty salary.
