Players can now combine multiple Overwatch accounts to carry progression and in-game cosmetics into Overwatch 2 on a single profile thanks to the launch of cross-progression. Every player with a linked console account will be prompted to identify, choose, and confirm the accounts you want to merge upon login starting on August 17. Following your approval, they will set up your accounts to be merged when Overwatch 2 launches.
On the platform, everyone who wants to play Overwatch 2 needs a battle.net account. Your battle.net account will store progress from connected console accounts and sync in-game cosmetics and progress between connected accounts.
