However, Newcastle United has been told that current FFP calculations allow for a spend of £70-80m, and Howe with the scouting department is aware of those numbers. The caveat is that, as we have seen in previous windows, Newcastle have gone beyond their initial budget.

Xavi Simons will decide his future soon as PSG have to buy back clause but it’s up to the player.
“Soon I’ll decide together with my family. To be honest, it’s not in my head to leave… I have no obligations to anyone. I’m the one who has to make the choice, I have a good season in PSV”, he said.
