Blizzard Entertainment, Halsey, and SUGA of BTS have joined forces for the release of the official music video, “Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem),” in celebration of the highly anticipated game, Diablo IV. Directed by Henry Hobson, the captivating video was filmed in various locations, including the mesmerizing Chapelle des Jésuites in Cambrai, France, where Blizzard adorned the ceiling with stunning paintings and a 160-foot mural inspired by the game.
Seeking a counterpart to complement their commanding power, Halsey enlisted the talents of SUGA, a longstanding collaborator and friend, who effortlessly delivers impressive bars at the track’s fiery halfway point.
Expressing her excitement, Halsey shared, “I’m thrilled that I had the opportunity to collaborate with SUGA of BTS on a reimagined version of ‘Lilith’ for the Diablo IV anthem! As a fan and collaborator, I’ve spent countless hours in Sanctuary with my family. Plus, I’ve always wanted to explore a concept with SUGA that delves into dark mythology. I hope fans of Diablo, SUGA, and myself will embrace Lilith’s essence.”
SUGA also expressed his joy, stating, “Working with Halsey on a track for the Diablo universe has been an incredible experience. I hope the track resonates with fans worldwide.”
The music video premiered with an exclusive preview of the first 20 seconds during the grand Diablo IV launch event at Vibiana in Downtown Los Angeles on May 31. The event saw an electrifying atmosphere with attendees, including collaborators like Gottmik and special guests such as Offset, Tinashe, David Harbour, and Khleo Thomas, revelling in the celebration. As the DJ set by Zedd filled the cathedral, themed visuals adorned the walls, immersing everyone in the world of Diablo IV.
