Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel travelled to England to meet Tottenham striker Harry Kane in his London home in an attempt to get the ball rolling over a proposed move to the Allianz.
Kane is keen on the switch and told Tuchel he would like to win the Champions League at Bayern.
FC Bayern, one of several clubs interested in signing Kane this summer, had a £60m bid for the 29-year-old rejected last week though are prepared to go all out for him after selecting the England man as their number one transfer target.
Kane has just 12 months left on his current contract, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is nevertheless expected to demand close to £100m before even considering a sale.
Kane has been coy about his future recently. His desire to win trophies is one of the worst-kept secrets in football but he’s not attempted to force his way out of Tottenham since Manchester City’s attempts to capture him in 2021 were rebuffed.

Mason Mount joins Manchester United until June 2028
Official, confirmed. Mason Mount joins Manchester United from Chelsea on a £55m initial deal plus £5m add-ons.
Contract until June 2028 with an option for a further season.
The club confirms that Mason Mount will be Man United’s new number 7️⃣.

Nathan Collins has joined Brentford until June 2028

Collins signed a six-year deal, with a club option for an additional two years.
