Limited Run Games, in collaboration with Konami, has announced that the highly anticipated Castlevania Advance Collection will be receiving a physical release for PS4, Xbox, and Switch this July. The collection will be available for open pre-orders from July 28th to September 10th.
The release includes multiple editions for fans to choose from. The Standard Edition offers four distinct covers representing the Game Boy Advance games and Dracula X. In addition, Limited Run will provide the Classic Edition, featuring a silver box with extra cover sheets, a soundtrack CD, and a poster. The Advanced Edition includes a SteelBook and an oversized Game Boy Advance box for collectables.
For ultimate fans, the Ultimate Edition offers even more throwback goods, such as a shadow box, lithographic prints, and more. PC fans can also enjoy the Collector’s Editions.
The collection itself features timeless action-exploration games, including three legendary Castlevania titles originally released on Game Boy Advance, as well as Castlevania: Dracula X. It also includes never-before-seen sketches and artwork from the games.
Notable new features in the collection include a gallery with original package designs and previously unseen artwork, ROM Region Selection to choose between different game versions, an encyclopedia providing detailed information on enemies and unique combat systems, a music player to create playlists, a save/load feature, and a rewind option for a second chance.
