Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool to go to Saudi Pro League for £200M before the end of the Saudi transfer window

Jürgen Klopp is hoping Liverpool reject a possible offer of £200M from Al-Ittihad for Mo Salah as he wants the 31-year-old to stay for the rest of this season and make any move to Saudi Arabia next summer.
However, the club have rejected it out of hand and considers the matter closed as the forward is not for sale.
The offer is understood to have been £100M up front with a further £50M in add-ons.
With another week of their window to go, they might just come in and say £200M and then it’s a worry.
For Liverpool the £200M transfer fee [would be too much to turn down]. it will be difficult for the Reds to see how and turn that down for a 31-year-old. That would be irresistible.

If Salah goes you’re talking about Liverpool not being in the top-four challenge. But with another week to go, you have to think of the lad and the wages being put around. That’s going to turn his head. He won’t be happy. It’s not a nice position to be in for Jurgen Klopp.
If Mo Salah does go, Liverpool have to rip up the book and start all over again.
Jadon Sancho has released a passionate statement after being criticised by Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, claiming he has been repeatedly made a “scapegoat”

Sancho was missing from United’s squad for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday, with Ten Hag revealing after the match he was dropped based “on his performance in training.
Jadon, on his performance in training, was not selected,” said Man United Boss. “You have to reach a level at Manchester United every day and we can make choices in the front line”.
“So for this game, he was not selected.”
But barely an hour after his manager’s public rebuke, Sancho launched his defence with a lively post on social media.
“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people to say things that are completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week,” said the 23-year-old.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and am grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge.
“I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
Free agent Sergio Ramos is set to make a return to Sevilla 18 years after he left the club

Sergio Ramos is set to make a return to Sevilla 18 years after he left the club.
The former Real Madrid defender was set to join Al-Ittihad for two years, until “a call from the Andalusian club has stopped everything.
Now it is closer than ever for Sergio to fulfil a dream with his return to the Estadio Sanchez-Pizjuan, where he was always given a hostile reception as a Real Madrid player.
A new era could begin for Ramos. At 37 years of age, he will arrive to lead Sevilla’s defence. Jose Luis Mendilibar had asked for a defender and no one is better than Ramos for the role.
The Andalusians have one more free space and the No. 4 available. It seems that the shirt already has a name and surname.
Fulham have “just postponed” Joao Palhinha’s move to Bayern Munich, according to his brother and agent

The Portugal international was reportedly on the brink of joining the Bundesliga champions but the deal fell through.
However, his brother Gancalo said: “They didn’t kill the dream, they just postponed it. Very proud of my brother and the player I represent.
The agent praised the respect, honesty and professionalism shown by FC Bayern and added: Words of appreciation, recognition and thanks to the entire Bayern structure.
The affection for the club in our family will remain forever even though my brother didn’t sign.
