Today, Blizzard Entertainment’s popular free-to-play action game, Overwatch 2, unveiled its inaugural music collaboration with K-pop powerhouse, LE SSERAFIM. Comprising five dynamic members – KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, and HONG EUNCHAE – LE SSERAFIM is renowned for their electrifying stage performances and rapid ascendancy in the K-pop scene.
The partnership will launch LE SSERAFIM’s upcoming track, “Perfect Night,” through a music video set to premiere on October 26 at 9 p.m. PDT or October 27, at noon SGT (GMT +8). Alongside this, fans can anticipate a unique LE SSERAFIM-inspired gameplay mode and exclusive in-game collectables, such as hero skins for Overwatch. The specifics of these offerings will be unveiled on October 30, with the content rolling out in the game on November 1.
Overwatch’s General Manager, Walter Kong, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Pairing with LE SSERAFIM for our maiden musical partnership is a thrilling venture. Much like our Overwatch champions, each member of LE SSERAFIM shines individually, but they are invincible as a unit.”
Furthermore, LE SSERAFIM is slated to grace the stage at BlizzCon on November 5 at SGT, delivering a live performance of “Perfect Night” to conclude the event. Enthusiasts can secure their tickets on the official BlizzCon website.
