Arsenal’s out-of-favour goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is reportedly a shock target for Chelsea

Chelsea could make a shock move for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, it has been reported.
Ramsdale has lost his starting place to summer signing David Raya despite playing a starring role in his debut season at the Emirates, and now speculation suggests Mauricio Pochettino’s side could make a bid for him.
The Blues are suffering goalkeeping problems of their own despite bringing in Roberto Sanchez from Brighton.
Chelsea hope to take advantage of Ramsdale’s situation across the capital and sign the ex-Bournemouth ace.
However, there could be several hurdles to overcome for Chelsea to get his signature. Arteta would firstly no doubt be reluctant to sell to a rival and he may also have plans to restore Ramsdale to his starting line-up.
Bayern Munich are also understood to be monitoring Ramsdale’s situation – with his contract running until 2026.
Manchester United are scouting AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders ahead of a potential transfer

Erik Ten Hag is looking at another Dutchman, as he looks to strengthen his Manchester United squad.
Manchester United are monitoring Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders after Erik ten Hag faced fresh criticism for the volume of former Eredivisie players he has signed.
Ten Hag has already raided the Dutch top-flight for the signing of Antony and Lisandro Martinez from Ajax, while he also signed full-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord last summer. Former Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana has subsequently signed from Inter, while Mason Mount even had a loan stint at Vitesse.
Reijnders starred for AZ Alkmaar across five seasons in the Netherlands before joining Milan this summer and being capped at the international level. The midfielder has impressed in 10 appearances for the Rossoneri and is already being linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Bayern Munich may want to reunite Harry Kane with former Tottenham team-mate Eric Dier

Bayern Munich reportedly want to reunite Harry Kane with former Tottenham team-mate Eric Dier.
Dier has yet to make an appearance for Spurs since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival and has been strongly linked with a move away from the club.
The Bundesliga giants have ruled out Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah and have turned to Dier in hopes of strengthening Tuchel’s defensive options.
The Englishman was linked to a summer exit but pleaded to stay and fight for his place on the Aussie’s squad.
Tuchel aims to recruit a centre-back in January with Chelsea’s Chalobah said to be his No 1 target.
But it is now unlikely for the defender to make a move to Germany in the new year as Bayern bosses are against the transfer.
Now the German boss is looking at other defensive options and Dier is set to be on the cards, the report claims.
There will be good recommendations on Dier from newcomer and close pal Kane.
Dier’s contract is set to expire next summer and Bayern may put in a pre-contract agreement to sign the defender for free next summer.
But with Tuchel’s side in an injury crisis with five players out on the sidelines, he could target a January move instead for a small fee.
Liverpool will “step up their long-term interest” in Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio

Liverpool are stepping up their long-term interest in Inacio. Last week, the Merseyside club sent scouts to monitor the defender playing for Portugal against Bosnia.
Playing alongside Ruben Dias in the heart of Portugal’s defence, Inacio had a quiet night as his side ran out five-goal winners with all goals scored in the first half.
Inacio is represented by Miguel Pinho, the agent who also represents Bruno Fernandes and negotiated the deal that took the playmaker to Old Trafford in January 2020. However, it is understood that neither agent nor Sporting will be interested in a winter move this season.
Inacio, 22, has four caps for his country and has stood out in Sporting’s defence, helping the club to the top of the Primeira Liga standings after eight games unbeaten.
David Moyes is in no rush to sign a new West Ham deal

David Moyes is not yet in talks to extend his contract at West Ham.
David Moyes insists he is in no rush to open contract talks at West Ham.
The Hammers boss, 60, will be out of contract at the end of the season with no plans to discuss a new deal in the pipeline.
The West Ham hierarchy will want Moyes to stay, however, after he ended their 43-year trophy drought with success in the Europa Conference League in June, as well as overseeing a fine start to this season.
Moyes faced calls to be axed at times last season with West Ham struggling in the Premier League.
The former Everton boss could have left on a high in the summer following that memorable night against Fiorentina in Prague but insists he never considered walking away.
Jesse Lingard is waiting to sign a contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq

Saudi Pro League will make Jesse Lingard wait for a contract to join his proposed new side, as there is a limit to how many non-Saudi players clubs can have.
Jesse Lingard could face another two months of unemployment before landing a new job.
Lingard had been training with old club West Ham but decided to join up with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq – who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
Lingard still has not penned a contract with the Middle East team as they have a limit on foreign players in the Saudi League.
