Marco Silva has signed a new three-year contract at Fulham and will remain the club’s head coach until the end of the 2025/26 season

After joining Fulham back in 2021, Marco Silva on Tuesday signed a contract extension that will keep him at the London outfit until 2026.
It comes after the Spaniard enjoyed two successful seasons with the Cottagers, notably guiding them back to the Premier League in his first season in charge. Silva admitted that his ambitions are to “sustain Fulham in the Premier League.
Silva: “It is important to feel the trust and have the support of our owners. My relationship with them, and with Fulham Football Club as a whole, has been really important in this decision and the success of the last two seasons”.
“The commitment and ambition that these players have demonstrated since day one has been the key to what we have achieved, and that will always continue to be the case, along with the unconditional support of our fans, who are fundamental. Let’s continue together on this long journey.”
During his time with the club, Silva has won 48 per cent of the league matches he has resided over in both the Premier League and the Championship.
Newcastle United are targeting midfielders from Manchester City and Manchester United as they consider a replacement for Sandro Tonali. Included in the shortlist is Scott McTominay
