Talking Cock Session: Daily update on the latest club news and highlights

In our latest update talk cock sessions, we look at the latest club news for Raphael Varane, Ruben Neves, Jorginho, and Andre Trindade, gossip, and highlights that have football fans from over the world buzzing with excitement.

Manchester United defender Raphael Varane is unlikely to leave the club until the summer despite currently being fourth choice

Raphael Varane will leave Manchester United in the summer, following claims the defender could depart in January with Bayern Munich said to be interested.

Despite losing his starting place under Erik ten Hag, Varane will not seek a mid-season exit, and though he has been linked with a Real Madrid return, the Frenchman prefers a move to Italy or Saudi Arabia.

Varane is currently the fourth-choice centre-back at United after Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans returned to the fold.

Man United claim that Varane is not leaving anywhere in January. Ten Hag wants to keep the spine of his squad together to give United the best chance of making the top four. But in the summer, United will listen to offers.

There’s already interest from Saudi Arabia where Varane could pocket a massive uplift in his wages. But he’s also keen on Italy as it’s a league he admires and would love to be a part of.

Ruben Neves is not expected to join Newcastle or Arsenal on loan in January

Ruben Neves is not expected to leave Al Hilal on loan this January.

After a vote among Premier League clubs failed to gain enough support to block teams from signing players from associated clubs, there was talk Newcastle would look to loan Neves as a replacement for the banned Sandro Tonali.

However, Neves is set to stay in Saudi Arabia and fend off any interest from England, with the Mirror also reporting a temporary move to Arsenal is no longer on the cards either.

Neves’ willingness to stay, coupled with injuries sustained by Al Hilal star men Neymar and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, means the former Premier League ace is now set to stay put at least until the end of the season.

Arsenal’s interest in Neves could have led to an extremely awkward reunion for the Portugal international after he criticised the club for “over-celebrating” following a 1-0 win at Wolves back in February 2022 – comments which sparked outrage among Arsenal fans.

Italian midfielder Jorginho returns to Serie A

Jorginho could be on his way back to AC Milan as talks over a new deal at the Emirates have stalled.

The 31-year-old Italian international has only started four games for Arsenal so far this season.

Jorginho’s contract talks with Arsenal are at a standstill, according to the midfielder’s agent.

The 31-year-old’s deal with the north London club currently runs until 2024 after he signed an 18-month deal from Chelsea last January.

However, his agent Joao Santos confirmed that ‘everything is at a standstill,’ adding: ‘We’ll think about it after February. However, the priority remains Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been a big fan of Jorginho, but he has only started four of Arsenal’s 12 Premier League matches.

While he has been a valuable asset for European games, there are talks of a desired return to AC Milan for the former Chelsea man.

Fulham are now leading the chase for Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade, with Liverpool also linked

Manchester United appear to have dropped out of the running for Fluminese midfielder Andre Trindade.

Two clubs who retain an interest in the 22-year-old Brazilian are Fulham and Liverpool.

Fulham are targeting a January move for Fluminense midfielder Andre, with Wolfsburg striker Jonas Wind among potential forward options.

Marco Silva is expected to be heavily backed in the transfer market after signing a new contract until 2026.

Fulham have moved ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Andre after their chief executive Alistair Mackintosh flew to Brazil for face-to-face talks last week.

Mackintosh was at the iconic Maracana stadium to watch the 22-year-old Brazil international lead Fluminense to victory over Boca Juniors in the final of the Copa Libertadores.

Talks over a potential £ 30 million move continue as Andre seeks a Premier League move after the Brazilian season ends in early December.
