Arsenal are looking to land Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz this winter after having three bids rejected for him already.

In order to balance the books, the club will consider offers for their midfielder Thomas Partey, who has fallen down the pecking order.

Arsenal are ready to offload Thomas Partey in January as they target new faces to strengthen their squad in the New Year.

The Gunners are very much in the Premier League title race and went top on Saturday night but Mikel Arteta is already eyeing up how he can bolster his ranks. Partey was an integral figure last term but has struggled with fitness and will be absent in January due to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Arsenal have a longstanding interest in Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz, who continues to impress for the Midlands club. The Brazilian has been the subject of three failed bids from Arsenal and it will take a mammoth offer to convince Villa to sell midseason.

Declan Rice’s arrival lessens the need for Arteta to have Partey in his starting XI and a reshuffle could be on the cards, but it is very dependent on finances. Arsenal spent around £200 million in the summer on Rice, Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz while David Raya’s loan is expected to become permanent in the summer.

Jean-Clair Todibo is a target for Tottenham, but the Evening Standard believes there will be competition from fellow Premier League sides Manchester United and Liverpool.

He could cost almost £40 million if he moves on in the winter transfer window.

Tottenham have joined the race to sign Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo, as they prepare to enter the transfer market for a new centre-back in January.

Spurs are desperate for defensive reinforcements and are ready to rival Manchester United and Liverpool for France international Todibo.

The 23-year-old has impressed in a Nice side challenging Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1 and is said to be available for around £39 million.

Spurs have made a new centre-back their top priority in January but they are expected to face competition from some of the best clubs in Europe for Todibo.

Fulham could bring in Chelsea forward Armando Broja during the next transfer window

Chelsea forward Armando Broja is making his way back from injury, and fellow West Londoners Fulham could target the striker.

Fulham are aware they may struggle to land Stuttgart’s in-form Serhou Guirassy, so may look closer to home.

Chelsea striker Armando Broja is a January target for Premier League neighbours Fulham.

The Craven Cottage club are in the market for a forward after losing Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal in August.

They are admirers of Serhou Guirassy at Stuttgart but know they face plenty of competition for the in-form 27-year old so are assessing a number of options with Jonas Wind of Wolfsburg also on their radar.

Broja is fit again after recovering from a serious knee injury and has made six appearances this season, including a start against Fulham where he scored in a 2-0 win.

However, he still needs more game time to get into his stride and with Chelsea in the market for another striker this January, they will consider allowing Broja out on loan.

West Ham playmaker Said Benrahma may join the Saudi Pro League

Benrahma is the latest Premier League player to emerge as a target for a move to the Saudi Pro League.

The 28-year-old is no longer integral to David Moyes’ team and that might see West Ham willing to cash in on the playmaker.

West Ham ace Said Benrahma’s name is coming onto the wanted list of the super-rich Saudi Arabian clubs.

The Algerian wideman could be one of the latest Premier League stars to make the move if the right offer comes in.

Benrahma’s new agent is well-connected among the leading Saudi outfits and has recently been to London for a face-to-face meeting with Hammers boss David Moyes.

If the bid comes in, West Ham may accept as Benrahma, 28, is not guaranteed a place in the team these days and his appearances and game time have been reduced.

Moyes will not want to push Benrahma out, especially with Europe still on the fixture list — but the right cash may sway the decision.
